Dr. Dwight A. Salkey and Dr. Jeremy Salkey

Dr. Dwight A. Salkey, PT, DPT, MSHSA, CEAS

Dr. Dwight A. Salkey is a Physical Therapist and Owner of Preferred Therapy Services and Work Fit Solutions since 2007. He graduated from Loma Linda University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy in 1987 and from California State University San Bernardino in 1995 with a Masters in Health Service Administration. In 2015 he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University, Orange CA. Over the years, he has treated numerous musculoskeletal disorders in a variety of therapy settings. Dwight has developed special interest in the Orthopedic, and Neurological conditions as well as the prevention and management of work-related injuries and combines his clinical and consultation skills for a variety of patient populations.

Dwight is certified in Kinesiotaping, IASTM, Balance and Falls. Dwight is also certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations , Job Analysis , Job Description and Post Offer Testing through WorkWell Systems Inc. and DSI Work Solutions Inc. He also specializes in Office Ergonomics and Back Safety Awareness and currently spends time working with employers and workers to promote job safety and reduce the incidence of work-related injuries.

Dwight believes in the power of movement and exercise and it’s power to heal the body. Dwight incorporates his knowledge and expertise in the kinesiology of movement and how best to address issues in the musculoskeletal system.


Dr. Jeremy Salkey , PT, DPT

Dr. Jeremy Salkey is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who graduated from Loma Linda University in 2022. Since completing his education, Jeremy has been actively practicing and honing his skills in the field of musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation.

Jeremy has a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and regain their mobility and strength. He uses his knowledge and expertise to provide individualized care to each patient, taking into consideration their unique needs and goals. He is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and continually expanding his knowledge to provide the best possible care to his patients.

In addition to his passion for physical therapy, Jeremy enjoys spending his free time pursuing a variety of hobbies. He is an avid hiker and loves exploring the outdoors, as well as playing basketball to stay active and fit.

As a recent graduate, Jeremy is eager to build his career and make a positive impact in the lives of his patients. He is excited to continue learning and growing in his field and is dedicated to providing compassionate care and exceptional service to his patients.


Michaela C. Reid, MOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Michaela Reid is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist who graduated from Loma Linda University in 2022. Her professional journey has taken her through various healthcare settings, including skilled nursing and home health.

Here at Preferred Therapy, Michaela is passionate about finding solutions for complex problems creatively and is dedicated to inspiring and supporting patients in achieving their highest level of independence in their ADLs/IADLs. Michaela also specializes in custom hand splinting services for a range of medical issues, including contracture management and tendon repairs.

Michaela has a passion for an active lifestyle outside of her OT practice. She enjoys pushing her physical limits through CrossFit, finding solace in the melodies of music through playing the piano and singing, reading, and expressing herself through painting.

Michaela embodies the values of compassion, creativity, and continuous learning. Her commitment to her patients and her diverse range of interests reflect her belief in the power of holistic well-being. Michaela is thrilled to have the opportunity to enhance her patient's independence in their daily activities and daily life.
